Collection: Paul Jennings

Paul Jennings

Paul Jennings was born in the U.K. and emigrated to Australia with his parents as a child. He worked as a teacher, lecturer and speech therapist before becoming a full-time writer at the age of 46.

Jennings has written over one hundred stories and has won every Australian children’s choice book award. The top-rating TV series Round the Twist was based on a selection of his enormously popular short story collections such as Unseen!. In 1995 he was made a Member of the Order of Australia for services to children’s literature and he was awarded the prestigious Dromkeen Medal in 2001.

A Different Dog was Paul’s first title to be published by Old Barn Books. It was followed by Different Boy and A Different Land, which were both longlisted for the CILIP Carnegie Medal.  All three titles are available on audio, as a CD or download: you can access the collection from Audible here.
