Ellwand works in both digital and analogue media. He's a darkroom wizard and compulsive collector of vintage cameras and photographic equipment. He has his own photographic studio and darkroom in West Sussex. He also likes to craft by hand – dresses for fairies, teddy bear sets, Damascus steel knives forged with his own charcoal, or recycled metal and enamelled sculptures and jewellery.
