About Us
Old Barn Books is an independent publisher of picture and gift books and of fiction for young people from about 9 years of age to adult. We love beautiful illustration and fine writing and look to build a list that is eclectic and personal, with an emphasis on the natural world and the development of emotional intelligence. We hope that our books will appeal and be accessible to readers of all ages and differing levels of interest.

Shipping: If you order from this site, orders over £10 in value are shipped free of charge within the UK. Orders below that value are usually charged at a standard rate of £2.75, to include postage and packing, although we are currently offering free shipping up to 31st December 2024. Do let us know if you would like signed bookplates or gift wrapping or with specific shipping requests.
Some of our titles have recently gone Out of Print in the UK but we may have stock here so please do contact us directly if you're trying to track one down.
We do not hold North American or ANZ rights on many of our titles so cannot ship there.
Shipping to Europe
Unfortunately, we have encountered problems shipping to the EU since the UK left, so any orders for the EU will go directly from our warehouse and cannot be personalised. We will also not be able to supply Out of Print titles outside the UK.
Shipping to Europe will be charged at a standard rate of £5.00 per parcel.
Returns policy: please get in touch if your book fails to arrive or is damaged on delivery.
