Pea Pod Lullaby

Published August 2017. A unique collaboration between Carnegie-shortlisted author Glenda Millard and renowned Australian artist Stephen Michael King, this picture book was created interactively over a period of weeks in an art gallery in Australia. A mother and a baby, a boy and a dog flee for their lives in a little boat. When will they find land? Who will welcome them in? Glenda's lyrical prose - 'I am the falling star / you are the wishful hands... catch me' and the flowing artwork bring them safely to shore.
